Summary

Description
English: Dusty proplyd in the star cluster NGC 2264, which appears as a star leaving a red tail behind. The external evaporation of dust from the disk of this object is caused by nearby OB-stars. The dust is then swept away by the nearby OB-star S Mon, forming a tail in the wake of the young star.
