Summary
| Description |
English: A restraint belt is used for transporting prisoners. The belt is placed around the prisoner's waist and secured with a buckle. In front, there is a metal ring through which handcuffs are plugged and then put on the priosner's wrists. In this arrangement, the prisoner's hands are kept at waist level. This allows a relative degree of comfort for the prisoner during prolonged internment in the securing device, while providing a greater degree of restriction to movement than simply placing the handcuffs on the wrists in the front.
Deutsch: Der Lederriemen wird dem Gefangenen um die Taille gelegt und hinter dem Rücken mit der Schnalle fixiert. Vorne befindet sich ein metallener Ring, durch den Handschellen gefädelt und dem Gefangenen angelegt werden. Nach dem Anlegen der Handschellen sind die gefesselten Arme vor dem Körper des Gefangenen fixiert, was die Bewegungsfreiheit einschränkt. |
