English: Preston Tower. The six-storey tower was built in the 15th Century as home for the Hamilton family. It was burned by the Earl of Hertford in 1544 and by Cromwell in 1650. They finally moved out in 1663 after another, accidental, fire, to the new Preston House and the recently completed Hamilton House 1030999.
