English: Prestfjall is a 471 meter high mountain in Hvalba, Suðuroy in the Faroe Islands. There have been coal mines in the mountain for some centuries. Hvalba has a history of coal mining which dates back to around 1770. The field and the land of the mountain used to belong to the Priest's Rectory (Prestagarður), because of that the mountain was named Prestfjall.
Føroyskt: Prestfjall er eitt fjall í Hvalba í Suðuroynni, sum er 471 metrar høgt. Allur bøurin og hagin hoyrdi fyrr til Prestagarðin í Hvalba, tí fekk fjallið navnið Prestfjall. Fleiri kolanám hava verið í Prestfjallið og eitt nýtt kolanám verður grivið har nú (2010).
