The concert hall of the Presidential Symphony Orchestra, which was founded in 1826 by Sultan Mahmut II with the name “Mızıka-ı Hümayun”, is located on Talatpaşa Boulevard in Ankara. Built as an exhibition center, the building was assigned to the orchestra in 1958 and converted into a concert hall by Ertuğrul Özakdemir and Feridun Helvacıoğlu in 1962. The building includes morphological characteristics in the style of the Second Nationalist Architecture movement, but also comprises neo-classical details. Its facade is clad with grey, red and ivory travertine, similar to the Ankara Opera Building. In the 1990s the foyer of the building was renovated. Later in 2007 the whole building was emptied and renovated to re-open for the 2008-2009 concert season. A new building for the Presidential Symphony Orchestra is currently under construction on a site between the existing concert hall and the Ankara Palace of Justice.

Temeli, 1826’da Sultan II. Mahmut devrinde kurulan Mızıka-i Hümayun’a dayanan Cumhurbaşkanlığı Senfoni Orkestrası’nın konser salonu, Ankara’da Gençlik Parkı’nın güneyinde, Talatpaşa Bulvarı üzerinde konumlanmaktadır.
