English: Susan Mohl Powers forming her clay bust of Theodore Baird, Amherst College prof of English. He had the only Frank Lloyd Wright house in New England, built in 1940 for $5,000 by Wright's son-in-law. Baird created Amherst's famous daily writing assignments, English 1-2, and he had read half the 240,000 books in the Robert Frost Library (at that time).
