Summary

Description
English: Portrait of Prince Davar Bakhsh (1603-28), grandson of Emperor Jahangir. He faces left against a dark green background and wears a six-pointed chakdar jama; a gold embroidered patka; a jewelled, feathered turban; a pearl necklace and a large gold pendant. In one hand he holds a small rose while the other rests beside his tulwar sword.The tufts of grass and flowering plants in the foreground and the streaks of blue, white and purple above are later additions.
