Nederlands: Cornelis van Bijnkershoek (1673-1743). Jurist, rechtsgeleerde,advocaat, raadsheer (1704) en president van de Hoge Raad van Holland, Zeeland (1724). Trouwt 1) 1705 Esther Regina van Buytenhem (1685-1726), 2) 1728 Gerardina Cloot (1690-1745), weduwe van Pieter van Hoorn. Zoon van Cornelis Stevensen van Bijnkershoek en Sara Remeus. Portret van een zittende man, iets naar links en kop bijna frontaal, aan een tafel met brieven, met een hamer in de hand.
