Description
English: Portrait of Officer Ryō Kurusu of the Imperial Japanese Army. Kurusu during the time of Lieutenant of Army Navigation. He wears a lapel pin (class badge), a special navigation badge that imitates one wing of a bird, which means a navigation officer. Ryō Kurusu was half Japanese (father) and American (mother).
