English: This is a photo of the Polaris Flare also known as Mandel-Wilson 1. I captured it on June 6th, 2024 with a basic DSLR and telephoto lens on a fixed tripod. The image is composed of 360 twenty second long exposures stacked to improve the signal to noise ratio. It was imaged under a Bortle 3 sky (Cherry Springs State Park).
