English: Point Isabel and Brooks Island are seen in this twilight view from the San Francisco Bay Trail along the Albany Mudflats. The tide was very low, -0.9 feet, revealing the texture of the mud. A winter storm had just passed through, and light rain was still falling, softening the lights.
The twin tower array of commercial AM radio station KKSF (910 kHz) is prominent in this view. These mast radiators are in a phased array to provide control over the signal's direction.
The part of the bay seen here has at least two official names: "Albany Mudflats State Marine Park (SMP)" and also "Albany Mudflats Ecological Reserve." TEPCO Beach is in the middle distance, to the right of the antennas.
The lights of the Port of Richmond can also be seen, farther out, across the Richmond Inner Harbor.
The sun was 6.0 degrees below horizon, during Civil Twilight, about 29 minutes after sunset: the Blue Hour!
