Description
English: The centerpiece of plastination: "forced impregnation". In a vacuum acetone trickles out of the tissue, creating a volume deficit in the specimen, which allows it to be permeated by the plastic.
Deutsch: Der Kern der Plastination: die „forcierte Imprägnierung“. Hierbei wird das Präparat in einer Kunststofflösung unter Vakuum gesetzt. Durch den hohen Dampfdruck fängt das Aceton an zu sieden und „perlt“ aus dem Präparat heraus. Dadurch entsteht ein Volumendefizit und das gleiche Volumen an Kunststoff wird ins Gewebe hinein gesaugt. Das Präparat ist danach vollkommen mit Kunststoff durchtränkt und wird eventuell in die anatomisch richtige Stellung gebracht. Englische Version.
