English: Plaque at Jana Kilińskiego Street in Warsaw (Raczyński Palace, near the corner of Długa Street), commemorating about 50 Polish hostages murdered in this place by Nazi-Germans in street execution in January 1944. Inscription at the plaque informs that execution took place on 24th January 1944. In fact it was conducted the day before.
Polski: Tablica na ścianie Pałacu Raczyńskich w Warszawie (od strony ul. Jana Kilińskiego, niedaleko skrzyżowania z ul. Długą), upamiętniająca około 50 polskich zakładników rozstrzelanych w tym miejscu przez niemieckich okupantów w styczniu 1944 r. Napis na tablicy informuje, iż zbrodni dokonano w dniu 24 stycznia. W rzeczywistości miała ona miejsce dzień wcześniej. |
