Description
English: This is one of a series of views painted by Pissarro from the apartment he took in 1900 at 28 Place Dauphine on the Ile-de-la-Cité in Paris. Here he is looking west along the River Seine. The Pont-des-Arts and the Louvre are seen in the distance. The railings and steps on the left enclose the 19th-century statue of Henri IV.
