Summary

Description
English: The wreckage of SouthCentral Air Flight 59, a Piper PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain, on the runway at Anchorage International Airport after being struck by a Korean Air Lines McDonnell Douglas DC-10 freighter which attempted to take off from the wrong runway and with too little runway distance to reach flying speed. The DC-10's landing gear dented the PA-31's cockpit, sheared off its wings, and tore off part of the tail before the DC-10 ran off the end of the runway, crashed, and burned, but no one was killed.
