English: Historic Building Survey plaque: "68 Pioneer Warehouse, 1918. The Pioneer Truck Company was the first occupant of this building owned by Roscoe Hazard and Elwyn Gould. It was used as a furniture and van storage warehouse. In order to avoid extra handling, the San Diego-Arizona and Santa Fe Railroad spur tracks led to the freight receiving doors. In 1925, the four-story building was expanded east by 65,000 square feet. It has since been converted into residential rental lofts."
