This is the cover of the DVD of Harold Pinter's Nobel Lecture: "Art, Truth, & Politics" produced and distributed by Illuminations (UK). Pinter's lecture was filmed in a Channel 4 London studio, and a DVD of the lecture was sent to Stockholm for public viewing before an audience at the Swedish Academy on the evening of 8 December 2005. It was also simultaneously transmitted on television, with an introduction by David Hare (not included on the DVD), by Channel 4. The image of the cover of this DVD is being used as an illustration in the section of the article Harold Pinter (Harold Pinter#Nobel Prize and Nobel Lecture), which specifically focuses on this lecture and this DVD version of it, and in the infobox for the article Art, Truth & Politics, which is about the Nobel Lecture filmed and distributed on the DVD. For this purpose, its use is deemed fair use. The cover is used for publicity purposes on the website of Illuminations, and a link to the website is given in the External links for the article Harold Pinter as the source of this cover. This image is reproduced on websites featuring the DVD for sale and on sites featuring critical discussion of the DVD with permission of the copyright holder Illuminations.

Passes all our Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria:

  1. Not replaceable, since the cover is inherently non-free, and no free image could replace it.
  2. It is not likely to replace the original market role of the original copyrighted media.
  3. Minimal use to illustrate the DVD.
  4. It has been previously published.
  5. It meets general Wikipedia content standards and is encyclopedic.
  6. It meets Wikipedia's media-specific policy.
  7. It is used in at least one article.
  8. In the article on the DVD, the DVD needs to be identified in order to fully understand the article. This is not true for articles on secondary topics.
  9. It is used in an article and in the parallel section of an article only.
  10. The image description page has adequate information.
