Description
English: Piney Jackson was born and raised in Goose Creek SC and was referred to as a Brass Ankle or Croatan. He is a direct descendant of Robert Sweat and Margarate Cornish, He and his two brothers got into a racial conflict with several White men in the early 1920s that resulted in death. He and his brothers (Preston and David) evaded arrest by leaving the city. Piney moved his family to Greensboro NC and changed his name to Julius Amaker.
