English: Pilgrim's Cross on Holcombe Moor A stone cross stood on this site for centuries guiding pilgrims between Manchester and Whalley Abbey near Clitheroe. In 1902 this inscribed stone was erected to mark the location of the ancient cross. It is now on the edge of an MOD Danger Area. The white pole flies a red flag when the firing range is being used.
