English: Pierre d'Amboise (?–1505), who was appointed Bishop of Poitiers in 1481 by Louis XI of France. The son of Pierre d'Amboise (1408 – 28 June 1473) and brother of Georges d'Amboise (1460 – 25 May 1510), he was Louis XII's cardinal and first minister. He built the Castle of Dissay near Poitiers.
