Summary

Description
English: The Pierre Pflimlin bridge being constructed over the river Rhine between Germany and France. Photo of the eastern pylon, taken from the French side of the river (southwest, Eschau), with the cantilever construction almost 2/3rds of the maximum length. Visible behind the bridge is the approach viaduct and a cement works on the German side (Altenheim).
