English: Around 40 examples of the so-called Comb design can be seen on Pictish Standing Stones (around 1200 to 1500 years old) in situ in NE Scotland or in (mainly) Scottish museums. Many have the style of a comb with varying numbers of "teeth" - others are less obvious.
