English: Right2Know Campaign and other civil society organisations hold a picket outside Newspaper House in St George’s Mall on 17 December 2013, Tuesday to protest against the replacement of Cape Times editor Alide Dasnois. Dasnois was allegedly fired for exposing corruption in the corporate sector.
Zackie Achmat (protesting in support of Dasnois) in front of counter-demonstrators supporting the replacement of Dasnois. The counter-demonstrators appeared expectantly at the pre-planned demonstration in support of Dasnois. |
