Description
English: Physochlaina orientalis: a back-lit flower ( original image treated to make corolla venation more clearly visible ). This single flower of Physochlaina orientalis (M.Bieb) G. Don, (family: Solanaceae), is here back-lit to reveal detail of purple corolla venation, stamens with anthers dehisced to shed ash-grey pollen, and flaccid pistil hanging down post-pollination.
