English: The Physics Building is a five-level lab facility on the main campus of Syracuse University. Constructed in 1967, this lab building has four floors above grade and two floors below grade. The fourth floor is a partial floor with a few offices. The three other above-grade floors contain a mixture of offices, classroom labs, and support areas. The first floor also contains the Stolkin Auditorium and the main entry lobby. The basement and sub-basement contain storage, shops, and other support areas. The exterior facades are a mixture of brick veneer and cut limestone accents with original single-pane glazing. There are four sets of glass entry doors around the first floor and secondary egress and service doors are hollow metal. The Physics Building totals approximately 103,483 gross square feet.
