I took this picture today; to the extent I have rights in the image I disclaim them under CC0.
There may be additional rights present in the logo on the can. A similar photo was deleted as non-free on Commons (though with no discussion or presented rationale - only the delete request), presumably on grounds that the logo on the can is protected. To the extent the logo is protected, this use of the logo should be permitted under a fair use rationale:
- the purpose and character of the use is educational; - the nature of the copyrighted work is not highly creative; and - there is no effect on the potential market for the logo, as the logo is not sold/licensed (to the best of my knowledge) separately from the material good
