Summary

Description
English: The Phoenix Building on Main Street in Springfield, Massachusetts, photographed in 1896. Designed by Emory A. Ellsworth of Holyoke in 1894 and now demolished. At right can be seen the Fuller Block (built 1887) and at left the original design of the Worthy Hotel (built 1895). Both buildings are still standing and have been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
