English: Grave of Dwight Bancroft Heard (1869-1929). Heard was one of the largest landowners in the Salt lake Valley in Arizona. He was also the president of the Arizona Cotton Growers' Association. He owned the Arizona Republican, a newspaper renamed the Arizona Republic. Heard. Together with his wife Maie, founded the Heard Museum. He is buried in Greenwood/Memory Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery in Phoenix, Az.
