English: Phoenix-born in Guangdong, Chinam, graduated at the top of his law class from the University of Arizona Law School in 1943, and became one of only eight Chinese-American lawyers in the U.S.. Wing ran for the state House of Representatives as a Democrat in 1946 and was elected, the first Chinese American in the country to achieve such status.
