Item 175604, Market Park [Victor Steinbrueck Park] Totem Pole Construction Photographs and Logbook (Record Series 5801-09), Seattle Municipal Archives. English: Peter Steinbrueck and Matthew Steinbrueck at Market Park (near the north end of Pike Place Market, Seattle, Washington), 1984. Peter Steinbrueck was later a member of the Seattle City Council; Matthew Steinbrueck operates a gallery of Native American art not far from the park. The park was later renamed in honor of their father, architect and preservationist Victor Steinbrueck, after he died in 1985.
