English: Perkin Elmer Transmission Electron Microscope, ca. 1973, displayed as part of the museum exhibition Second Skin: The Science of Stretch at the Chemical Heritage Foundation, on view from November 4, 2016 to May 6, 2017. Perkin Elmer Transmission Electron Microscopes were used, among other tasks, to view the surface of fibers for textile analysis to examine fibers.
