Summary

Description
English: Fixative is inserted into the left ventricle (perfusion) via a needle attached to a pump. Fixative then is spread to the tissues of the organs. Arteries can be pinched off to prevent fixative flowing to unnecessary tissues. This reduces the amount of fixative required. Fixative and biological fluids drain through a hole created in the right Atrium.
