Summary

Description Heavy rain on the third day of the 3rd Test match at Headingley in Leeds prevented any play between England and Australia until early evening, and this image shows the England captain Percy Chapman (left) inspecting the wicket with Bill Woodfull of Australia after the makeshift cover had been removed from the bowler's end, 14th July 1930. The match ended in a draw.
