English: This building was built in 1920 and is located in 8307 W. Washington St. This building served as the Paramount Theater, later renamed the Peoria Theater. In 1947 the building was rebuilt after being damaged by fire. It was converted Fire Station #1 when Peoria incorporated in 1954. Listed as historic by the Peoria Historic Preservation:Old Town Peoria 83rd Ave. & Washington St.
