Description The only known, well-preserved, and entire male (Type A) mesial appendage of Adelophthalmus. This occurs in a specimen of A. mansfieldi (C. E. Hall) from the Pennsylvanian, Allegheny group at Cannelton, Darlington township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania; previously figured by James Hall.
