Description
Español: BNE Mss 2805 f 23r. Representa a Don Pelayo en la batalla de Covadonga. Se trata de una de las copias que transmite versión del Corpus pelagianum del obispo Pelayo a partir de un prototipo (incluso en las miniaturas) probablemente elaborado en el scriptorium del obispo Pelayo de Oviedo. La corona responde a modelos de fines del siglo XI, del tipodel que lleva el monarca en el centro de las tablas lunares del mss 17 del St. John’s Colle-ge de Oxford (ca. 1080-1100) como las que se encuentran igualmente en el Liber testametorum, manuscrito realizado por el obispo Pelayo.
