English: HE'S NO. 1 in L.A.--General of the Army Omar Bradley, 83, receives from Councilwoman Peggy Stevenson and Mayor Tom Bradley the city's highest honor, a joint resolution from the City Council and mayor, in the council chambers. The general, wearing some of his 75 military decorations, will also receive the USO's first Distinguished American Award here on Wednesday.
