| Description | {{en|Front of the Peak House, located on the northwestern corner of the junction of Spring and West Streets in Bedford, Kentucky, United States.Built in 1830 initially as a tavern, this house had been placed on the National Registry Of Historic Places for its two story brick federal-Greek revival architecture. It later became the residence of William F. Peak and his family during the 1850’s. It survived a major fire in 1873. The Peak family restored the damage and continued to live in the house for many years thereafter. In 1999 the house had been under the ownership of Bill and Betty Ransdell. The couple fully restored and renovated the property inside and out during this time to later have it serve as The Bedford Inn Bed And Breakfast. The Ransdells lent the home to community groups and other private organizations during their ownership as well. It is now currently the private residence of the Horvath family that have once again carefully restored the house to showcase its original federal-greek revival architecture of the 1830’s. | ||
