English: Patricio Cuevas-Parra is a Child Rights advocate that manages research and information analysis on social justice issues affecting children. Mr. Cuevas-Parra assessed relevant national laws and regulations in the light of international frameworks and instruments and has translated findings into social programs to improve the quality of life of children in developing countries. Mr. Cuevas-Parra has published six books on the topics of children’s rights advocacy, child participation, indigenous children and gender. Photo taken in January 2011.
