Notes Other used titles are Orpheus; The Death of Orpheus; The Grief of Orpheus. The painting is seemingly sometimes credited to be in the collections of the Dahesh Museum because they published the book and possibly exhibited the work, but the book from them credits it to this Mulhouse museum. The other referenced book does as well.
