English: The site has been officially identified as a Sabaean temple (see the notice). Local Mandaeans have suggested that a shkenta be built on the site to raise awareness of the history of the community in this area, but this has so far not been successful.
The sign reads: "Borj-e-Ayyar Dam has been built over the Gargar Canal in order to raise the water level and deviate the water to neighbouring gardens. Much of the dam has been destroyed and eroded. There are some hand-carved structures in the rocks, known as the temple of Sabe'ein.
