Summary

Description
English: Parthasarathi temple, Parthivapuram

was built by the Ay king Karunandadakkan and consecrated in 857 A.D. Representing the early phase Kerala temple architecture, the main shrine known as Parthasarathi temple is in fact a Vishnu shrine. The shrine is a classical sandhara vimana of the imperial Chola period (circa A.D.1000).

Now under the control of Archeological Survey of India.
