DescriptionPark land by the Ure - geograph.org.uk - 1402623.jpg
English: Park land by the Ure The scattering of mature trees identify this as park land, perhaps at one time belonging to Clifton Castle which stands on the other bank of the River Ure [although there is no bridge]. Clifton Castle is a large country house dating from 1802-10. The south front can be seen here, but the main elevation is to the east where there are Ionic columns supporting a classical pediment.
