| Description |
Race start BC Para Nordic Cup 800m Sprint.... The athletes are preparing for a staggered start time qualifier.... were the faster athletes do a time trial / then a calculation is done to equalize the race field - by percentages. So in theory in a hunter start the athletes with the higher disability will start first with a time advantage; then the faster/ less disabled athletes are let out of the gate according to there race qualifying time.... they all be at the finish line at roughly the same time. As this is a sprint it is a very exciting race! |
