Summary

Description
English: The Green at Lyneham, Wiltshire, England. This is a 2011 comparison photograph to complement the 1930 photograph of the same view by Fred C Palmer, File:Fred C Palmer Lyneham L106.jpg. If the same building and road still exist, then they are so changed as to be almost unrecognisable. The exact original site is unknown, but this site is the most likely one, as the opposite side of the road is low and could carry water. The left hand end of the house on opposite side (no. 59 The Green) is constructed in a similar manner to the building in the original image, but the right hand end has been considerably extended and modified.
