English: Arms of a member of the Paige family, circa 1709-13, QueenAnne'sWalk, Barnstaple, North Devon: Argent, on a bend sable three eaglets displayed or. Shown on an antique trophy of arms with helm on a fasces, the ancient Roman symbol of the office of a magistrate. These arms are also visible, with restored tinctures on two mural monuments in St Peter's Church, Barnstaple, namely that of Gilbert Paige (d.1669), Mayor of Barnstaple, and on that of his father-in-law Walter Tucker, Mayor of Barnstaple
