Summary

Description
English: Three bridges over the River Irwell at Prestolee, near Stoneclough, Greater Manchester. Nearest the camera is Prestolee Bridge, an 18th-century packhorse bridge and the oldest of the three. Behind it is a bow bridge carrying a sewer pipe. Behind that is the Prestolee Aqueduct of the Manchester, Bolton and Bury Canal, which was built in the 1790s. The view is northeast.
