English: Engine house for the Port Perry & Port Whitby Railway located on the north-east corner of Mary and Pine Streets in Whitby.
The building was built in 1876 to replace an engine house that burned down in 1875.
This image, from 1946, was taken after the line was no longer being used, and the engine house is already in decay. The rails had already been removed in 1941.
The building was later used as a garage. The site is now a residential area and the building no longer exists
