Summary

Description
English: A young Somali boy holding one of the American PSYOPS leaflets up to the camera. The leaflet is a hand drawing a Somali man shaking the hand of a U.S. Forces member. In the background of the picture are drawings of an AH-1 "Cobra" helicopter and High-Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV). The drawing conveys to the Somali people that the U.S. is trying to help end their suffering and is here as their friends. The leaflets are being used in direct support of Operation Restore Hope.
