English: ONE OF THE BEST EXTANT EXAMPLES IN MORRIS TOWNSHIP OF THE SMALL RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITIES THAT DEVELOPED IN NEW JERSEY DURING THE LATE EIGHTEENTH AND EARLY NINETEENTH CENTURY TO SUPPORT LOCAL INDUSTRIES. MOST OF THE HOMES ARE FRAME OR BRICK AND THOS ON THE ONE SIDE OF MT. KEMBLE AVENUE ARE HIGH ABOVE THE ROADWAY. DISTRICT IS CLOSE TO MORRISTOWN ITSELF
